The truffle and the lands of Montefeltro

A holiday in ancient medieval towns, visiting the truffle farms and tasting delicious truffle dishes

The cradle of this extraordinary tuber is the Montefeltro which hosts annual fairs of international importance such as those in Acqualagna (established as the Truffle Capital) and surrounding towns including Apecchio, Sant’Angelo in Vado and Sant’Agata Feltria. All these towns belong to the National Association of “Città del Tartufo. In occasion of the most important truffle fairs held in October and November to celebrate the most significant truffle on the market, the Tuber magnatum Pico (the prized white truffle), we propose a fascinating trek to explore the taste of the truffle and to this end have organised a truffle hunting trip in the most beautiful and peaceful places of our region.
